Thanks for your great work. I'm always eagerly waiting for your releases. I think the quality is higher. Plus, who can deny the awesomeness of this site.

One thing I dislike about the OVA is the switching of the roles for Utano and Chikae. Although different isn't bad, I just preferred the original roles. It's still a nice adaptation to the manga.

Frankly, this is the most accurate subs that I've seen for Shoujo Sect so far. (:

Thanks guys. I have already made my own rip, and now, thanks to you, I've got subs ^_^ But as far as I remember there were girls names given in English in the manga, and you used those names in translation. But in the subs you used other names. Why?

@jpngmr - our comments field support html, so yes, it will cut off those sorts of things.

@Beyond Kawaii - to be technical how they are read in the manga is how you see it written in the anime OVA. We chose to stick with the English names in the manga wherever it honestly made -sense- from the profiles, and to otherwise simply use the Japanese. For listening to it aloud, it was impossible to justify what was literally heard/spoken as 'Handa' as 'Hunter.' This will remain throughout our releases in the future; all manga will use the manga conventions for names and the OVA will always use the OVA conventions. Not meaning to confuse at all.

It's your codecs. The subs work perfectly on mine. I either use players from CCCP or mplayer. I haven't seen I file I can't play yet.

That, or stop using VLC for soft subs. Notorious no-no, that.

VLC displays softsubs fine for me... but I have to manually turn them on by going under the little menu bar at the top. (Which is what I did for this OVA^^) CCCP also helps, as jpngmr said. Hope I could be of service^^

You have hardsubbed some lines and labels? That's not good. Good thing those are not in my rip, but bad thing they are not in your softsub.

They're called "signs". This is not a foreign concept. You get a fansub FOR THE SUB. NOT FOR THE RAW. Get used to them, or go buy a DVD yourself. Everyone clear?

I did ^_^ I made a rip of my very own DVD. I just can't read Japanese.

Then you can pull the subs and re-mux them from the h264. No signs, magically. :P

That's exactly what I did. Just those signs are now not subbed at all. Guess I'll have to make Aegis work somehow.

Sokka... I don't use VLC anyway, only Media Player or Winamp. Guess I will update my codecs.
